Topic: Building Momentum
Learn how to motivate, grow and achieve in your campaign. This workshop will
look at ways of increasing momentum, focussing on the necessity of having a
clear and achievable strategy, and of valuing each person involved. It will
invite reflection on how effective campaigns and movements operate and realize
their goals, and practical application through consideration of the importance
of leadership, variety, and different roles.
Tim Grace is a founder and national coordinator of Hooked, the national student movement for fair trade.

Topic: Media skills - making them listen!
This workshop will take a look at how to deal with the media effectively in
a campaign. Those who attend will be involved in learning key principles and
practical ideas in how to do this, including discussion about what interests
the media and draws them to an event. The importance of a good press release
and how to write one will also be covered in a practical and interactive way
that encourages participants to think creatively in their approach to publicity
and related issues.
